Question: Are the steps significant to ensuring the success of a corporate meeting?
Yes, I believe that the steps mentioned are significant to ensu re the success of a corporate meeting. Location is very important, having things be on schedule and all persons involved aware of what is to be discussed allows for time efficiency.Lastly and also very important, refreshments. After all the hard work of planning and executing, refreshments should be served, sadly a number of event planners do not quite understand this.
ReplyDeleteThese steps mentioned are indeed essential in the successful implementation of corporate meetings. So often these activities are disorganized and improperly planned. The environment must encourage the attentiveness of the members, it must be comfortable, well ventilated with sufficient lighting, it must not be congested and the means to which the information must be delivered whether through written or verbal media or otherwise must be clear and without disturbance or error. Without a well thought-out agenda the information intended to be distributed may be misconstrued, miscommunicated or even misinterpreted, resulting in confusion and the failure of it being used for it's intended purpose. Also refreshments not only add to the comfort and satisfaction of the personnel that attended but it also encourages an informal forum where further discussions may be made about the details provided.
